Communication skills: Effective communication is crucial in the workplace. We provide coaching and support to help individuals improve their verbal and non-verbal communication skills. This includes active listening, articulation, expressing ideas clearly, and understanding social cues.
Social skills: Building positive relationships and working well with others is important in any job. We help individuals develop social skills, such as teamwork, conflict resolution, empathy, and building rapport with colleagues and supervisors.
Time management skills: Being able to manage time effectively is essential in the workplace. We provide strategies and tools to help individuals prioritize tasks, set goals, manage deadlines, and use their time efficiently.
Problem-solving skills: Problem-solving is a valuable skill in the workplace. We assist individuals in developing problem-solving skills by teaching them how to analyse situations, think critically, generate solutions, and make informed decisions.
Independence and self-advocacy: We aim to build independence and self-advocacy skills in young people. This includes helping them make decisions, take responsibility for their actions, and advocate for their needs and rights in the workplace.
Job-specific skills: Depending on the individual's career interests, we may be able to provide training and support in developing job-specific skills. This may include technical skills, computer literacy, hands-on training, and industry-specific knowledge.
Resume writing and job searching: We assist individuals in creating professional resumes and cover letters tailored to their skills and experiences.
Interview skills: Interviews can be challenging, and we provide coaching and practice sessions to help individuals prepare and perform confidently during job interviews. This includes tips on answering common interview questions, body language, and presentation skills.
Financial literacy: We understand the importance of money management skills. We provide support and guidance in developing financial literacy, including budgeting and saving.
